Matel Metaal, is a versatile welding and construction company and is the market leader in the field of Design and Construct. They are involved in both the (private) residential and non-residential construction industry. In the workplace of more than 2,000 m² they make use of modern production methods by using sophisticated machinery.
Sterkos designs, produces and supplies stainless steel stairs and railings in combination with various materials, both for the business and private market. Sterkos is characterized by full custom and also by continuing to invest in innovation. They do not have the ambition to be the largest player in the field, but the most reliable.
Level Stairs has been designing, producing and supplying design stairs since 1996 and is well known for their very modern and minimalist design and competing prices. The initiator of SteelQore is Jan Matel who is founder and co-owner of the network which is named Matel Holding. The Steelqore Story
Few years ago (2012), we got a special request to provide bulletproof glass doors to be delivered to a church in Nigeria; and it became my first trip to Nigeria. More requests followed so, I decided to send over some of our welders from the Netherlands and set up a team in Nigeria.
It was a great plan, but not devoid of challenges. Combining the Nigeria project with the business going on in Netherlands at the same time turned out to be very complex if client satisfaction was to be achieved. So, I decided to adjourn my visit to Nigeria and returned to the Netherlands.
Between 2012 and 2014 work activities spread to Nigeria, where several EPC projects were carried out in Okija Anambra State and Lagos state. Seeing the prospect in Nigeria, my interest and experience with the Nigerian construction industry increased.
Precisely in 2022 we decided to formally register STEELQORE NIGERIA LIMITED with the corporate affairs commission of Nigeria. Now, with experienced professionals in our team, we have spread our services into Structural mechanical piping, Facility management and procurement.
